WHAT TO EXPECT
Once you have made contact, I will offer you a 15 minute chat online or over the phone to discuss your needs.
Then, if you feel comfortable, we will arrange a time for an initial assessment session, which usually lasts for 50 minutes. During this I will ask you a few questions, explain the psychotherapy process further and answer any questions you may have. This session will be charged at my usual rate. After that we will start our work together which usually consists of 50 minute sessions at the same time every week for as long as you need.

I conduct sessions online or in person in Clapham Junction. Meeting online means you can make contact from the comfort of your own home or workplace. I only ask that the space you choose for our sessions is comfortable, confidential and unlikely to be interrupted.

How many sessions will I need?Everyone is different. In the assessment session we will discuss what you feel comfortable with, and go from there. I work in both open-ended and short term psychotherapy.
-
Do you work with children? At the moment I only work with adults , so anyone over 18. If you are looking for child or adolescent psychotherapy or counselling I recommend searching on the BACP directory, or Counselling Directory.

How much does a session cost?My fee is £75 per psychotherapy session

Can I bring my baby to sessions?Of course. Living with a small baby can be very challenging and I fully understand how difficult it can be to find and afford childcare. I don’t believe parenting responsibilities should be a barrier to accessing psychotherapy, so I am happy to discuss having your baby present in our in-person or online sessions. Just bring this up in our initial chat and we'll go from there.
